Greta Hermann 



Greta moved to Columbia in 2023 from rural upstate New York, she experienced her first time living without animals. She promptly began volunteering with Second Chance and fell in love with the organization.

 While unable to foster due to apartment policies, she has volunteered in many other capacities, including manning events and assisting with dog and cat intakes, TNR (trap, neuter, return), and Second Chance’s weekly veterinary clinic.

 Wanting to expand her responsibilities within Second Chance, she also serves as co-cat chore coordinator and facilitates cat and dog adoptions, managing the Adoption Center as a staff member.
