About Natalie

Natalie first started volunteering with Second Chance as part of an event with her college service organization in 2015. She continued to volunteer off and on throughout the rest of her time at Mizzou, and loved the organization so much she applied (and was hired) as one of the Adoption Center Coordinators in Summer 2017. Although she had graduated college and had a full-time job as a volunteer coordinator at a local nonprofit, she also spent most of her weekends working at the adoption center until she accepted a job to work with different kinds of animals at the St. Louis Aquarium in June 2019. After moving away from mid-Missouri, she still volunteered with Second Chance as much as she could remotely, helping with social media, fundraising, and event planning. Natalie is excited to continue to be involved with Second Chance and hopes her background in nonprofit management will continue to help advance the work Second Chance does. Her chocolate lab, Kona, is the love of her life, along with her two cats, Henry and Lucy.
