Cat Young, along with her daughter, started out as an occasional weekend volunteer at the Adoption Center in 2016, Cat quickly realized the importance of rescue and offered to help in every capacity including fostering, matchmaker, dog and events committee, evaluation and intake and accepted a seat on the BOD. With a background in hospitality and as an owner of several small businesses Cat contributes her time and business knowledge for the goal of saving lives and furthering education on responsible animal ownership. Her two dogs Oliver and Gus have been the perfect foster siblings for the many foster dogs that Cat and her husband have brought into their home over the years.
